This training video gives a detailed description of how to carry out a "Shaft Alignment on the Mars Turbine". The video has a total duration of 42 minutes. Part 3 - Rim and Bore correction - this looks at the different tool set up and how this effects the readings. It describes how to use the Solar drawings to extract the required information you will need to carry out the alignment.

Part 4 - Hub to hub distance - the video explains what this is and how to set up the equipment to get the correct spacing so the shafts are positioned correctly with regard to the thrust bearings.

Part 5 - Alignment tools - this shows how all the alignment tools are used for this procedure.

Part 6 - Alignment tips for aligning the Mars. This is specific to the Mars turbine only.
